Action Alert: Possible Vote Sept. 9
Great news: Senate and House leadership are discussing clearing the waiting list as soon as September 9. Our voices are being heard, and we are grateful to leaders for standing by promises made to the 55,000 families waitlisted for the Opportunity Scholarship.
As leaders are talking, it is vital that we continue sharing our stories so that they understand the strain families are under. Please take a few minutes to write and call House and Senate Republicans, urging them to take action to clear the waiting list.
Hard working North Carolina families are in need of relief and deserve access to their own tax dollars to give their children the education that best meets their needs.
